The Focused Fido Class is built for dogs who struggle to focus when other dogs or people are around — whether that's because they're over-exuberant and lose their minds with excitement, or shy and overwhelmed by the world. Either way, what's getting in the way is your dog's arousal level, and that's what this class addresses.

This is not a class for reactive dogs (barking, lunging, growling — those dogs belong in our Prickly Pooch Class). Focused Fido is for dogs eight weeks and older who've completed a beginner manners class like Delightful Dog and need to layer attention and arousal-management skills on top.

Over three weeks at our Denver area training facilities, you'll learn confidence-building games, engagement and disengagement techniques, relaxation protocols, and how to channel your dog's energy — high or low — into calm, focused behavior. We'll strengthen recall, loose leash walking, and automatic eye contact in environments that actually challenge your dog.
