NOBLE BEAST SEPARATION ANXIETY TRAINING - FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG

What is Separation Anxiety?

If your dog panics when you leave — you already know how heartbreaking it is.

The howling. The destruction. The guilt of walking out the door every single morning. And the worry that never quite goes away while you're gone.

You are not alone. And your dog is not broken.

Separation anxiety is one of the most misunderstood and most treatable behavioral challenges we work with at Noble Beast Dog Training in Denver.

It is not about stubbornness, spite, or bad training.

It is genuine panic — and it deserves genuine support.

Our Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) Yasmin Baylor brings world-class expertise, deep compassion, and a proven methodology to every single client. This is not a quick fix. It is a real program, built around your specific dog, updated daily, and designed to create lasting change —

so you can leave the house without dread, and your dog can stay home without fear.

We understand how truly stressful your dog's separation anxiety can be for the whole family.

Your dog's panic can lead to problematic behaviors that may make it difficult or impossible for you to leave them alone. Their agitation may even start before you leave the house. They may begin pacing, whining, and/or panting while you get ready for the day ahead. Upon returning home, you may see that your dog has destroyed things, urinated or defecated despite being potty-trained, or even that they injured themselves. They may bark, cry, or howl excessively while you’re away, and become overly excited when you return.

Sound familiar? If so, your dog likely has separation anxiety.

As heartbreaking, frustrating, and stressful as all of this is for you and your family, it’s incredibly difficult for your dog, whose behavior is not intentional but driven by true anxiety and even sheer panic.

We can help!

Your dog will start to feel more comfortable with your absences with help from our Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). You’ll get hands-on support to help you work on easing the stress of leaving, working at your dog’s pace to ensure success. Through this proven program, you will work with your trainer to gradually teach them that when you leave, it isn’t scary at all!

Every training plan is unique. As you provide feedback along the way, your trainer will update your customized training plan DAILY and give you specific next steps, all while cheering you on! Let’s face it, having a dog with Separation Anxiety is hard work, and knowing you’re not alone can make a big difference! With time and dedicated work, your dog will learn that they can relax at home while you’re away, which will give you the freedom to relax while you’re away too.

  • What If My Dog Needs More Than 4 Weeks Of Training?

If you and your dog need more time with your trainer, we will honor a discount of 20% off any additional weeks

Unlike teaching a dog an action-based cue like sit, Separation Anxiety training helps you help your dog redefine what it means to be left alone.  It’s a reprogramming of their emotional responses, similar to a person being counseled through a specific fear or anxiety.  Because all dogs are individuals and some Separation Anxiety cases are more severe than others, there will be some dogs that need additional weeks of training.

It is important to know that while Separation Anxiety is a highly treatable disorder, the rate of progress is slow, particularly in the early stages.  However, once a dog starts moving in the direction of changing how they feel about being left alone, we do see their learning accelerate.  The best way to ensure the most efficient outcome of your training time is through your own personal commitment and devotion to following your trainer’s training plan and being consistent.

  • We Reserve the Right to Change the Training Plan

Although this does not happen often, we do our best to quote and deliver the best training plan and service based on the information provided by you, as a pet parent.  Your trainer has the right to change the training plan as needed, even after your training has started, for the sole purpose of ensuring success for you and your dog.

  • No Guarantees

If you don’t work with your dog and follow your trainer’s instructions, the skills learned in training sessions will not stick.  Your commitment to working with your dog is the only way you will see results.

  • Training Expiration Date

All unused training sessions will expire 3 months from date of purchase.

  • Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel one of your private sessions, you will need to contact Noble Beast Dog Training 24 hours in advance. Without this advanced notice or if your trainer shows up and you are not there for the appointment, the appointment will count as a paid session. To cancel a session with Noble Beast simply email Info@NobleBeastDogTraining.com or call 303-500-7988 or you can call or email your trainer directly.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my dog has separation anxiety or is just bored?

Separation anxiety looks different from boredom. A bored dog may chew things or get into mischief — but a dog with separation anxiety typically shows signs of distress before you even leave the house. Pacing, panting, whining while you get ready, destructive behavior, urinating despite being house trained, and excessive barking or howling are all classic signs. If your dog seems calm when you're home but falls apart when you leave — that's separation anxiety.

What is a CSAT and why does it matter?

CSAT stands for Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer — a specialized certification that requires over four months of intensive study, 100+ hours of instruction, and high-level coursework under the tutelage of Malena DeMartini, the world's leading separation anxiety expert. Noble Beast's Yasmin Baylor holds this certification. It means your dog is in the hands of someone with specific, advanced expertise in this exact challenge — not a general trainer trying their best.

Why does the program require a 4-week commitment upfront?

Separation anxiety treatment is highly individualized and requires daily updates to your training plan based on your dog's progress. This is not a one-size-fits-all program — it evolves every single day based on feedback from you. That level of personalization requires a committed partnership. The 4-week minimum ensures your dog has enough time to make real, measurable progress.

How long does separation anxiety treatment take?

Every dog is different. Some dogs show significant improvement within the 4-week program. Others need additional weeks depending on the severity of their anxiety. Your trainer will be honest with you about progress and next steps throughout the entire process.

Can separation anxiety be completely resolved?

Many dogs make extraordinary progress — going from complete panic to being able to be left alone comfortably for hours. Results vary depending on the dog, the severity of the anxiety, and the consistency of the training. What we can promise is a compassionate, expert-guided process that always moves at your dog's pace.

Do you use any punishment or corrections in separation anxiety training?

Never. Separation anxiety treatment is entirely based on gradual desensitization and positive reinforcement. Punishment or corrections would make anxiety significantly worse — and Noble Beast does not use them under any circumstances.

Is separation anxiety training done in my home?

Yes — all sessions take place in your home, which is where your dog's anxiety actually lives. Between sessions you will have unlimited text and email support from your trainer, daily plan updates, and ongoing guidance throughout the entire program.

Your dog deserves to feel safe at home.

You deserve to leave the house without guilt.

If you're ready to take the first step, Noble Beast's Separation Anxiety Training program starts with a 1-hour Assessment so we can fully understand your dog's situation and build a plan together.
